About the role

The Growth Manager is responsible for setting and ensuring the product achieves specific KPIs in product-related metrics, such as acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, and revenue. This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of product management and growth strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth by optimising every stage of the customer journey.

What you’ll do

Growth Strategy & Funnel Optimization

  • Define the product's growth plan and lead execution across the entire funnel from acquisition through to monetization and retention
  • Own and optimize specific business metrics or commercial goals, covering the entire funnel from new user acquisition through conversion, activation, retention, and expansion 
  • Perform detailed product analysis covering the product management funnel with all its aspects, implementing changes into the buying funnel to improve conversion
  • Design and execute A/B testing programs to optimize sales and conversion rates/adoption at each funnel stage
  • Lead testing and optimization efforts for the conversion funnel across offline and online channels, prioritizing tests that drive the biggest business impact

Product-Led Growth Initiatives

  • Study user data and analyze funnels to find issues, A/B test solutions, and measure results using key metrics like free trial conversion rate and expansion of MRR
  • Optimize onboarding flows to improve user activation and reduce churn, designing features that enhance adoption and usage
  • Improve the product's design and deploy experiments to improve lifetime value (LTV) and decrease churn 

Data & Analytics

  • Use deep, flexible, and comprehensive analytics covering the entire funnel from marketing acquisition to product usage
  • Analyze user behavior to improve the sales funnel and increase conversions, using advanced analytics to assess campaign performance and refine strategies
  • Define and track growth metrics including customer acquisition cost (CAC), activation rate, retention rate, payback time, and revenue per customer
  • Conduct cohort analysis and journey mapping to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate plans across product development, marketing, and sales departments to execute growth strategies
  • Collaborate with the sales teams and work with customer success teams to ensure successful product implementation
  • Lead cross-functional growth team including product, design, analytics, and marketing resources
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Business Intelligence, Creative, and Paid Media teams to customize user experience and maximize conversion

Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Conduct regular client interviews and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends in inventory management and supply chain technology
  • Conduct in-depth market research on market trends, competitive analyses, and customer behavior patterns
  • Translate customer needs and market opportunities into actionable product growth initiatives

What you need to succeed

Experience

  • 5-7 years in growth  management, with at least 3-5 years focused on sales or marketing or product-led growth
  • 3+ years in a management role managing teams and driving strategic initiatives
  • Proven track record in consumer-FMCG environment, preferably in CPG or fintech environment
  • Deep experience scaling product businesses, with demonstrated ownership of significant revenue targets

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to drive metrics and benchmarks, plus experience with growth experiments, A/B testing, and funnel optimization
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Proficiency in product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Grafana, Tableau, Looker, etc)
  • Deep understanding of user behavior analysis and segmentation

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills to interact with teams, stakeholders, and users through verbal presentations, written reports, and visual media 
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing product teams
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and digital marketing platforms with ability to manage and mentor teams of marketers, analysts, and designers
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and business acumen

  • User acquisition and activation rates
  • Customer retention and churn rates
  • Expansion revenue (upsell/cross-sell)
  • Payback time for new users
  • Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) to Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) ratio
  • Product adoption metrics across key features
