Role Overview We are looking for a first-principles thinker and problem solver with strong business acumen and a bias for execution. This role goes beyond reporting performance — it is about identifying growth levers, driving improvements across the merchant lifecycle, and influencing outcomes across the Soundbox P&L.; You will: - Own merchant device growth across acquisition, activation, usage and retention. - Drive commercial impact by identifying growth levers, efficiency gaps, and monetization opportunities. - Partner with cross-functional leaders (Product, Tech, Sales, Ops, Finance) to scale device penetration. - Build decision-enabling systems (dashboards, automations, AI-led insights) to improve device lifecycle management. - Drive initiatives end-to-end: diagnose issues, build interventions, and track business impact. Key Responsibilities - Identify business growth opportunities using data and structured problem-solving. - Track P&L; and device growth drivers (revenue, cost, efficiency, churn, attach rates). - Improve merchant acquisition efficiency and retention using lifecycle insights. - Expand offline market share via competitive conversions and merchant upgrades. - Partner with Product to shape the device roadmap and AI-led innovations. - Lead market intelligence to anticipate risks and opportunities in device adoption. - Influence leadership decisions through actionable business inputs. - Enable automation and intelligence with Tech to improve merchant experience. What We’re Looking For - 5-8 years of total experience with 2–4 years of relevant experience in growth/problem-solving roles in consulting, fintech, internet or product-led startups. - Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on comfort in SQL/Excel and business metrics. - Strong business mindset: ability to link metrics to P&L; impact and prioritize outcomes. - Hustler mindset with bias for action and ownership. - Strong communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
