Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive, data-driven Growth Intern to help us expand the reach of our authenticator app and strengthen its position in the market. You’ll work closely with the Growth Lead and the marketing team, owning the growth strategy of our new Proton Authenticator app and experimenting with tactics to drive adoption, traffic, and visibility. This is a paid internship opportunity. 

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of growth experiments and contribute to the overall growth strategy for the authenticator app.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to: 
    • Drive traffic to the website through SEO, ASO (App Store Optimization), and content initiatives.
    • Direct tactics on social media, forums, and community platforms to capture feedback, track trends, and spot growth opportunities. 
    • Identify and reach out to influencers, affiliates, and communities to build partnerships and amplify visibility.
  • Proactively outreach to companies, developers, and communities to encourage adoption and partnerships.
  • Design and test grassroots growth hacks to enhance product visibility and expand Proton authenticators user base.
  • Analyze user data and campaign performance to optimize growth efforts.
  • Support messaging and positioning of the authenticator app to highlight its unique privacy-first value.
  • Continuously research competitors and the market to identify gaps and opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data.
  • A self-starter who is proactive, flexible, and resourceful.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, privacy, or SaaS products.
  • Creativity and willingness to test unconventional growth ideas.
  • Solid communication skills and confidence in outreach.
  • Familiarity with SEO, ASO, or influencer/affiliate marketing is a plus.
