About the Role

We are looking for a Growth Creative Lead to join our team on a permanent basis. You will play a crucial role in helping shape and drive the creative execution aligned to the creative strategy for HeliosX’s paid social initiatives. You will focus on our Weightloss category but have an understanding of all our brands. 

 

As Growth Creative Lead, you’ll manage a team of content creators and designers, with accountability for alignment of creative ideation and execution to the overarching content strategy and performance needs.  

 

As the creative leader overseeing weight loss content within the growth team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative content that fuel HeliosX’s paid social growth, ensuring alignment between strategy,  execution, production and performance goals. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Growth, Brand, Creative, Clinical teams as well as external agencies, to spearhead content innovation and optimise ad performance across channels such as Meta and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Direction & Content Development
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Growth Content Creators and Designers, providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Define the content roadmap and priorities for your team, ensuring alignment with HeliosX’s growth goals.
  • Lead the Growth Content Creative Weightloss with direct responsibility for overseeing the successful output of the Growth Content Creators and Designers as well as overseeing external creative vendors and agencies.
  • Develop high-impact paid social content strategies informed by performance data and insights, customer insights and social trends, ensuring they align with HeliosX’s growth goals.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure content strategies are optimised for performance metrics such as hook rates, engagement, and conversion.
  • Maintain a clear content production pipeline, balancing innovation with strategic goals and budget considerations to deliver a growth roadmap across all HeliosX brands. 
2. Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Optimization
  • Use data analytics, user research, and competitor analysis to help refine the creative playbook and improve content performance on paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok).
  • Work with the Growth channel manager to evaluate content experiment results, develop new creative hypotheses for testing, identify high-performing assets, and iterate on new creative ideas.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and report on creative successes and areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, platform updates and emerging technologies to enhance content efficiency and performance (e.g., AI tools for ad creation).
3. Team Collaboration & Creative Ideation
  • Lead creative ideation sessions with internal teams (Growth, Paid and Organic Social, Brand, and Creative) to brainstorm new content concepts and strategies.
  • Ensure ideas are transformed into actionable, scalable campaigns that drive HeliosX’s growth across paid social channels.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to align on content strategy, branding, and customer insights.
4. Content Production Oversight & Vendor Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, from ideation to production and delivery, ensuring all creative adheres to platform best practises and brand guidelines.
  • Coach your team to deliver quality content on time and within budget while maintaining creative excellence.
  • Manage relationships with external creative vendors and ensure timely, cost-effective content delivery that enhances HeliosX’s production capacity.
  • Work with Growth and Creative Production teams to improve forecasting and planning process to ensure team roadmap is optimised to support business needs. 

Who You Are

  • Experienced People Manager: You have at least 2+ years of experience managing creative teams, providing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering growth.
  • Strategic Leader: You have at least 4+ years of experience in content creation for paid social, including leadership experience managing creative teams and vendors.
  • Social Native Expert: Deeply familiar with social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and understand how to harness organic trends to drive paid content performance.
  • Performance-Driven: Proven track record of optimising content based on key performance metrics such as engagement rates, hook rates, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborative Innovator: You enjoy working cross-functionally and leading creative ideation sessions to align content strategies with broader business goals.
  • Growth Mindset: Passionate about experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and constantly improving content to achieve performance goals.
  • Experienced in Startups/Agencies: Experience working in a fast-paced startup or an agency with a focus on social performance marketing, with a portfolio of successful paid social campaigns to back it up.
