To strengthen our Consumer Membership Team within Business & Product, we are looking for a

Business Data Analyst (m/f/d)

(Hybrid in Cologne or remote within Germany / Full-time / Permanent)

Your Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize business, funnel, and customer journey dashboards (e.g. payment, cancellation)

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and clear metric definitions across reports and tools to help reduce data silos by connecting multiple data sources and enabling end-to-end data flows

• Translate complex and sometimes conflicting data into clear, decision-ready business recommendations and act as a central point of contact for data-related questions, supporting stakeholders with interpretation and validation

• Analyze user behavior, segments, funnels, and lifecycle metrics to uncover actionable insights

• Evaluate high-impact experiments (e.g. pricing, conversion, process changes) and ensure valid tracking and interpretation

Requirements

Your Profile

• Degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a comparable field or comparable professional experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in Business Data Analytics, ideally within SaaS, subscription, or B2C environments

• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling principles and metric logic

• Confident working with funnel, lifecycle, and core SaaS KPIs, experience in interpreting A/B tests and experiments as well as recommending next steps

• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI 

• Analytical, communicative, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

• Business fluent English and German
