Group Product Manager (GPM) - Expressions of Interest.

AI overview

Lead a portfolio of high-impact platform products, shape strategy across multiple product teams, and collaborate with senior leaders to unlock growth.
Why join us? We’re a global tech company,  just not the kind you’re picturing. Sure, we’ve got catered lunches, team events, cool merch, and yes... dogs in the office. But that’s not why people join. Our team of nearly a thousand people wakes up every day to make our product and our customers’ lives better. At SafetyCulture, you’ll hear “yes, let’s give it a shot” more often than “that’s not how we do things here.” People join because we’re building tools that make work better for the 3 billion people who keep the world moving - factory floor operators, baggage handlers, truck drivers, servers, store assistants. The ones who make things happen. We’ve got the scale and innovation you’d expect from big tech. The difference? No endless layers of sign-off. No corporate theatre. Just smart, experienced people solving real problems fast . The scale is big. But the ownership’s personal. Every full-time team member gets equity - real skin in the game. When we grow, you do too. We’re not perfect, no company is. But this next chapter of our growth is about scaling with intelligence, not just size - fueled by operational maturity, a clear vision, and a strong focus on AI.  This is big tech impact, without the big tech ick. If that excites you more than it scares you, you’ll fit right in. This Group Product Manager role is a rare opportunity to lead a portfolio of high‑impact platform products that sit at the heart of how our customers run their businesses. You’ll shape strategy across multiple product teams, coach Product Managers, and work with senior leaders to unlock the next wave of growth. What you’ll be doing?
  • Lead and grow a portfolio of products across multiple cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing), setting a clear, outcomes‑driven vision for a core area of our platform.
  • Coach and develop Product Managers – raising the bar on craft, customer insight, and execution, and building succession depth across your group.
  • Own the product strategy for your domain, aligning it tightly with company objectives and our broader platform direction.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify and prioritise the highest‑leverage opportunities, set ambitious goals, and translate them into clear bets and measurable outcomes.
  • Turn complex problems into focused roadmaps, ensuring initiatives are broken down into milestones, epics, and experiments that teams can execute against with clarity and autonomy.
  • Champion customer‑obsessed, data‑informed decisions, combining qualitative insight with product analytics to shape strategy, validate impact, and iterate quickly.
  • Balance competing priorities across teams, navigating customer needs, commercial goals, technical constraints, and platform health.
  • Strengthen cross‑team collaboration, creating clear interfaces between groups, resolving dependencies early, and ensuring stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering and GTM are aligned.
  • Scale product management practices – evolving frameworks, rituals, and tools that improve delivery quality, predictability, and learning across your group.
  • What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience leading Product Managers and cross‑functional squads in a high‑growth, technology‑driven environment (multi‑team or multi‑product scope).
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy for a portfolio of products or a complex platform area, with clear examples of business and customer impact.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership – you’re comfortable influencing at all levels, including executive, and can navigate trade‑offs with clarity and conviction.
  • Depth in Agile product delivery, with experience scaling practices (e.g. planning, discovery, experimentation, delivery rituals) across multiple teams rather than just a single squad.
  • Experience in mobile‑first, SaaS, or platform environments, ideally with exposure to enterprise or large‑scale customers.
  • A track record of building high‑performing teams – hiring, coaching, and creating environments where Product Managers and cross‑functional partners can do their best work.
  • The scale-up mindset
  • You’ll thrive at SafetyCulture if you:
  • Think customer first – you’re energised by direct customer conversations, site visits, and digging into real‑world workflows, not just dashboards.
  • Bias to action – you move from problem to experiment quickly, and know when to ship scrappy, when to raise the quality bar, and how to bring others on that journey.
  • Operate at multiple altitudes – you’re as comfortable in strategy and org‑design conversations as you are in deep product reviews, metrics, and execution details.
  • Love complexity, simplify the path – you can see the whole system (product, commercial, technical, operational) and tell a simple, compelling story about what we should do next.
  • Build trusting, candid relationships – you communicate clearly, give and receive feedback well, and create psychological safety while still holding a high bar.
  • Why you'll love working here:
  • Impact at scale: Work on products used by thousands of customers and millions of users globally, helping teams work safer, smarter, and more efficiently every day.
  • Product‑led environment: Join a business where product is central to strategy, with direct access to customers and strong partnership with Engineering, Design and Go‑To‑Market.
  • Growth and development: Access to learning, coaching, and stretch opportunities as we continue to scale, with clear pathways across Group Product, Principal, and Director‑level roles.
