Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Group Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for our portfolio of connected device hardware and software. This role is responsible for defining products, setting priorities, and driving the integrated roadmap for both hardware platforms and embedded software. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the end-to-end device roadmap, integrating hardware and software roadmaps to deliver cohesive, market-leading solutions.
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision for both hardware platforms and embedded software, ensuring alignment with company strategy and emerging market trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including hardware engineering, software development, QA, and program management—to synchronize milestones and accelerate innovation.
  • Oversee advanced market research and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and guide long-term investments.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements, business cases, PRDs, and executive presentations.
  • Champion operational excellence, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement through data-driven iteration and customer feedback.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for usability, reliability, and performance in all product decisions.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and executive teams for go-to-market planning, product positioning, and strategic partnerships.
  • Mentor and develop product management talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, engineering, or computer science strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with at least 7 years in product management roles overseeing both hardware and software products.
  • Demonstrated success in leading integrated product roadmaps for complex hardware/software systems.
  • Deep understanding of embedded software development, hardware engineering, connectivity technologies, and automotive integration.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and executive presentation abilities.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Expertise in embedded product development, hardware engineering, and connectivity technologies (BSP, multimedia, camera, audio, video, and wireless technologies).
  • Experience with vehicle systems and CAN protocols is desirable.
  • Advanced market research and competitive analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to create business case, forecasting and executive presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
