Job Description:

Position Summary. 

Crunchyroll is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Creative Director for Audio Visual to lead and inspire our in-house creative teams. As a key member of our Marketing and Creative Department, you will be responsible for shaping the visual and auditory identity of Crunchyroll, ensuring our content speaks to the hearts and minds of anime enthusiasts worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary creative direction for the Audio Visual department, overseeing the creation of promotional videos, trailers, commercials, and other audio-visual assets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of talented creatives, including video editors, motion graphic designers, composers, sound engineers, and more, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Develop and maintain the brand's audio-visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with Crunchyroll's core values and the anime culture.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams to develop creative strategies that enhance Crunchyroll's presence, ensure cohesive storytelling and alignment with broader business objectives and engaging and expanding the anime community.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative techniques to ensure Crunchyroll's content stands out in a competitive market.
• Ensure all audio-visual content meets high-quality standards, and provide feedback to maintain and enhance quality across all projects.
• Collaborate closely with other creative and marketing teams 
• Oversee the planning, production, and post-production of audio-visual content, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.

15+ Years proven track record in creative leadership within the audio-visual industry.

Experience in the entertainment, streaming, or anime industry is a plus.

Strong understanding of anime culture and fanbase.

Exceptional creative vision and storytelling skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Strong project management and budgeting skills.

Proficiency with relevant software and tools for audio and video production.
