Responsibilities
As part of the Group Controlling team, you will play a key role in financial reporting, planning, and analysis at the corporate level. Your main tasks include:
- Monthly Reporting & Planning:
- Contribute to monthly reporting (Actual/Forecast) and planning processes with a focus on profit and loss statement, operating assets, working capital, and cash flow
- Support and advise divisions and subsidiaries during reporting and planning cycles
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze the Group’s income statement and key financial metrics for monthly reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Prepare reports for the Executive Board on operating assets, working capital, and cash flow (Main Focus)
- Develop Group-level analyses on topics such as financial investments, divestments, depreciation, working capital, and Days Sales Outstanding
- Accounting & Transactions:
- Post division and business area transactions, including intercompany profit elimination
- External & Internal Reporting:
- Provide information for external publications such as annual and quarterly reports
- Assist in preparing internal reports including Group reports, Supervisory Board reports, and planning books
- Process & System Development:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and controlling tools at Group level
- Ensure system-side accuracy and functionality of queries and reports
- Special Projects & Ad-hoc Analysis:
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and support special tasks and projects
- Degree in economics or business administration
- Initial professional experience, preferably in controlling, accounting, and/or auditing
- Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
- Knowledge of IFRS desirable
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; besides it, German language knowledge would be an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Strategic mindset, flexibility, and assertiveness
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
