As a member of a team providing services to EUSPA you will be providing support for the Design, Development and Validation of the Ground Segment Evolutions of Services Facilities, Systems in Operations and new developments.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the design and development of Ground segment evolutions;
  • Support in overall migration, strategy definition, verification and validation plan;
  • Review the technical documentation for the ground segment and element milestones;
  • Interfacing with industry and coordinating with service operator Teams for improvements related to migration strategy;
  • Participating to the Engineering Board regarding the technical documents prepared by engineering;
  • Approval of Configuration Change Request (CCR) and participate to GSOp OPS CCBs;
  • Analyse contractual CR/CCN relevant to ground segment;
  • Contribute to the analysis of anomalies raised by the service operators and participate to the relevant anomaly review boards (UNCLA and CLA) for aspects related to ground segment;
  • Review and coordination of Maintenance releases, as well as participate in MRABs;
  • Management and Coordination of Customer Undertakings with Industry and relevant EUSPA Teams, including definition of timeliness and prerequisites. 

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Master’s in aerospace engineering or a relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in satellite ground segment;
  • Customer focused mentality;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
