GROUND BEEF PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Ground Beef Production Supervisor
- Manage and supervise hourly employees
- Responsible for the motivation and safety of those employees
- Prepare pre-operational paperwork
- Ensure area is properly staffed/crewed to meet operational needs
- Coach and develop employees to obtain results
- Responsible for meeting volume goals, reducing claims, maximizing yields, reducing cost and employee retention
- Maintains good working relationships with the Union, USDA and Maintenance employees
Requirements:
- Two years supervisory experience preferred in a food manufacturing/meat processing setting preferred
- Ability to work a Monday through Friday including weekends when needed
- Ability to work a second shift
- Ability to work in a cold fast paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
