Planned Parenthood Keystone is looking for a Part Time (10-15 hours/week) Graphics Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. Aside from required availability on Wednesdays from 10am-12pm EST, the hours are flexible. This role will be instrumental in developing creative ideas to help connect with our communities and putting those ideas into action by crafting compelling graphics and visual assets that amplify our educational content. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants hands-on experience in social media and nonprofit marketing. Skills learned will include elevating a digital presence by brainstorming ideas and creating assets for owned properties such as website, blog posts, and emails as well as for social properties like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Support social media team by recommending topics and graphic concepts during weekly brainstorm sessions.
  • Design and create static graphic content to be used across multiple platforms including website, blog posts, emails, and social media.
  • Build and refine graphic templates for recurring content.
  • Mock up static social media posts including captions provided by social media team.
  • Create visual elements for videos (lower-thirds, title screens, custom stickers).
  • Deliver draft graphics to the social media team for review.
  • Handle revisions and final asset exports/uploads.
  • Schedule approved static posts.
  • Maintain file organization, workflow system updates, and overall brand consistency.
  • Ensure completion of required annual training. 
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.

  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong visual communication and typography skills.
  • Ability to contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions.
  • Ability to take feedback and quickly incorporate revisions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Excited about Planned Parenthood’s mission and values.
  • Must submit to a PA State Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.
  • Must have access to reliable internet connection.
  • Salary:
  • Internship roles are unpaid but eligible for course credit at participating Colleges and Universities. Please consult your institution or program of study for course credit eligibility.
