GRAPHIC & MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The required candidate for this role is an innovative and talented candidate with skills to contribute to the visual identity of our brand. A highly creative and skilled candidate who will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually stunning and effective static & motion graphics content. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver appealing designs and compelling animations and videos that enhance the company’s brand and engage its audience. 70% of time in this role will be spent on graphic design while 30% will be spent on motion graphic design.

Graphic Design Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design:

• Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various projects.
• Develop and design marketing materials, including brochures, banners, social media posts, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to translate concepts into visual content that communicates our brand message effectively.

2. Brand Identity:

• Ensure consistency in brand representation across all design elements.
• Work closely with the marketing team to refine and enhance the visual aspects of our brand.

3. Digital and Print Media:

• Design graphics for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email campaigns.
• Prepare files for print production and collaborate with printers to ensure quality output.

4. Software Proficiency:

• Utilize industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to create high-quality designs.

5. Creativity and Innovation:

• Stay updated on design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into design projects.
• Bring fresh perspectives to the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our visual communications.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

2. Experience:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Artist or similar role.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.

3. Skills:

• Proficient in graphic design software and tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and typography.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

4. Attention to Detail:

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all designs.

5. Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.

Motion Graphic Design Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualization and Design:

• Develop innovative and visually appealing concepts for motion graphics projects.
• Design and create high-quality motion graphics using a variety of tools and software.

2. Animation:

• Bring static designs to life through animation, ensuring smooth and engaging transitions.
• Create character animations, kinetic typography, and other dynamic visual elements.

3. Collaboration:

• Work closely with creative directors, graphic designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align motion graphics with overall brand messaging.

4. Technical Proficiency:

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to motion graphics.
• Proficient in using industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

5. Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, and resource requirements.

6. Feedback and Revisions:

• Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders into design revisions.
• Iterate designs based on client or team feedback to achieve the desired outcome.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.

3. Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite.

4. Strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and video production processes.

5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D).

2. Knowledge of video editing and post-production techniques.

3. Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., JavaScript for After Effects).

4. Understanding of UX/UI design principles.

5. Experience in creating motion graphics for social media platforms.
