Job Title: Graphic Designer – Proposals & GovCon Marketing
Location: Hybrid in Baltimore, MD as needed
Position Summary
Global Alliant is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with proven experience supporting government proposals (RFPs), GovCon marketing, and digital design. This role will be responsible for developing compelling visual content that enhances proposal quality, brand presence, and client engagement.
The ideal candidate combines design excellence with strategic thinking, understands the fast-paced proposal environment, and is proficient in modern AI-powered design tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality proposal graphics including:
Infographics, process flows, and technical diagrams
Covers, section dividers, and compliance visuals
Resumes, org charts, and past performance visuals
Collaborate with proposal, capture, and technical teams to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
Support GovCon marketing initiatives, including:
Capability statements
Whitepapers and case studies
Social media and digital marketing assets
Design and maintain company website visuals, landing pages, and digital branding elements.
Develop and enhance PowerPoint presentations for executive briefings, client meetings, and business development efforts.
Ensure all deliverables align with brand standards, proposal compliance requirements, and accessibility guidelines.
Utilize AI-powered design tools to improve efficiency, creativity, and turnaround time.
Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced proposal environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably supporting government proposals or GovCon marketing.
Strong portfolio demonstrating:
Proposal graphics
Infographics and data visualization
Digital and web design
Advanced proficiency in:
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
PowerPoint design and formatting
Experience with AI design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Canva AI, etc.).
Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to translate technical content into visually engaging designs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Government Contracting (GovCon) environment.
Familiarity with RFP processes, proposal timelines, and compliance requirements.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or web design tools (WordPress, Webflow, etc.).
Experience designing for federal/state agencies.
Knowledge of Section 508 compliance / accessibility standards.
