Principle is seeking a talented Graphic Designer, focused on Art Direction and Marketing Coordination. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working on diverse projects with a smart team. The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for elevating the Principle brand through art direction, graphic design, and social marketing. This position will work with Vice President of Marketing and the Brand Experience Team to help elevate the overall Principle brand as a key member of the marketing/communications team. The Graphic Designer will work with the team to help develop marketing and brand management strategies; create designs and layouts for all materials and execution types; help coordinate and maintain Principle’s website; collaborate on social and marketing campaigns; work with external vendors, including analyzing pricing and sales; monitor and evaluate how the brand is perceived by a wide audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build a marketing toolkit that reflects the Principle brand including, but not limited to:
Evolve the current set of marketing tools and methods and create a standard process for marketing requests for design to ensure the organization is well represented in Principle branded communications and pitches.
Assess incoming requests for design and manage resource assignments and scheduling to ensure the work is completed.
Establish and manage collaborative relationships across departments to develop and advance “customer experience” solutions while simultaneously balancing the needs and resources of each area.
Management of Principle brand assets for communications including, but not limited to:
Oversee and implement the expression within marketing communications of the Principle brand to ensure a positive, consistent perception of the organization.
Update and maintain the Principle brand style guide to ensure that all external projects align with branding guidelines, including logo usage.
Maintain an organized creative asset library for all assets, including photos, video, and print.
Regular onboarding and training on Principle brand and brand experience for Principle staff
Design print and digital materials, including but not limited to: social media content, client presentations, email newsletters, website content, conference materials, video content, brochures/flyers, and swag
Create, execute, and manage onsite signage requests and event displays
Manage and design staff templates and presentation decks
Manage and update website, www.principleglobal.com, including but not limited to:
Design, site and page layout
Imagery, graphics, other media asset libraries
Regular content updates and quality assurance checks
Collaborate on development of photography/videography assets
Manage work with external production vendors/collaborators
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, creative design, marketing, advertising, or related field.
Mastery of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator; additional Adobe Creative Cloud programs a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Graphic design skill and brand management experience are required.
Project management skills such as time management.
Strong understanding of digital marketing design principles.
Experience with CRM campaigns (preferred).
Familiarity with website design and basic UX principles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
3+ years of professional design experience.
Experience designing for both print and digital.
Experience with photography, photo editing and some videography.
Experience with WordPress a plus.
High attention to detail and execution.
Maturity to work as part of a small, flexible, and adaptable team
Self-driven and goal-oriented, able to work independently and organize own tasks, projects, and calendar
Self-reflective and willing to learn from mistakes and by asking questions and embracing continuous improvement
Experience working with executive level leadership and other external stakeholders
