Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. Founded in 2005, it became a publicly listed company in 2016, and today boasts a global readership across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and more. The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope, encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms, creative agency Hypemaker, and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.  We're looking for a Graphic Designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and brings ideas to life with initiative and taste. You'll work closely with our creative, editorial, and accounts teams to craft campaigns that blend cultural insight, visual innovation, and clear storytelling. Responsibilities:
  • Creative Execution:
  • Design and develop editorial and branded content that maintains and elevates Hypebeast's visual standards.
  • Produce platform-specific content across social (WeChat, Weibo, Red, Douyin, Bilibili), digital, print, video, and experiential channels.
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work on time.

  • Collaboration & Client Work
  • Partner with the Creative, Sales, and Editorial teams to concept, brief, and execute branded campaign projects.
  • Present and pitch creative design solutions to brand clients as part of media campaign proposals.
  • Translate client briefs into compelling visual concepts that align with both brand objectives and Hypebeast's creative standards.

  • Trend & Culture
  • Track emerging design trends and platform features, adapting quickly to new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external creative talents artists, illustrators, animators, and more.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Design, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in a design role at a media company, digital agency, or brand creative studio.
  • Strong portfolio of digital design and creative production work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Experience across design mediums: photo, video, animation, and print.
  • Knowledge of AI tools, motion graphics, 3D rendering is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Hypebeast's aesthetic and youth culture.
  • Pixel-perfect attention to detail with both local (China) and global perspectives.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to troubleshoot on the fly.
  • Good command of English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
