Job Role: Graphic Designer

Compensation range: $1.800 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The client is a well-established Australian retailer and premium hospitality company, operating both bricks and mortar venues and a strong online store. They specialise in premium lifestyle products and curated experiences for discerning customers. With decades of experience and an extensive, loyal customer base, the brand offers a refined selection of high-quality goods including cigars from leading regions, luxury gift items, fine writing instruments, leather accessories, and sophisticated barware.

Alongside its retail operations, the group owns and operates premium hospitality venues known for exceptional service, elevated food and beverage offerings, and memorable guest experiences. Blending traditional expertise with modern e-commerce and contemporary hospitality, the business is built on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering a distinguished experience at every touchpoint

Role Overview: We are looking for a high-level, full-time graphic designer, based in the Philippines, to work remotely across multiple businesses within our group. This is a central design role responsible for overseeing and producing creative assets across hospitality, lifestyle, and brand-driven businesses. 

The designer will work closely with the internal marketing team and leadership and will own day-to-day design execution.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own and oversee all graphic design output across multiple brands 
• Create high-quality design assets for: 

○ In-venue posters and event marketing 

○ Social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) 

○ Marketing and brand materials 

• Create logos and web images as required across the group 
• Edit and optimise product images and design elements for: 

○ Websites 

○ Landing pages 

• Build, organise, and maintain brand systems and templates in Canva 
• Ensure Canva assets are structured so team members can self-serve for smaller tasks 
• Create basic video-based content (e.g. Instagram Reels) using supplied footage and tools such as CapCut 
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team and leadership on a daily basis

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Senior-level graphic design experience 
• Strong proficiency in Canva 
• Comfortable using a range of AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity  
• Experience working with image and light video editing tools (CapCut or similar) 
• Strong understanding of branding, layout, and visual standards 
• Able to work independently without micromanagement 
• Fast turnaround times with consistent quality
