Our Finance team sits at the heart of Each, supporting more than 200 programs across Australia. We work collaboratively to ensure our services have the financial clarity, stability, and support they need to make a real difference in the community. As part of the Organisational Enablement Directorate, the Finance team is committed to accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement, so our frontline teams can focus on delivering great care.

Your role, your impact
As our new Accounts Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your work will directly support the teams delivering health, disability, housing, counselling, and mental health services, helping them make informed decisions and continue providing high‑quality care to the people and communities we serve.
You will:

  • Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing, from invoice entry to generating payments via BPAY and EFT
  • Reconcile creditor statements and follow up on outstanding items
  • Ensure accurate approvals and purchase orders are in place before payment
  • Maintain organised and compliant financial records, aligned with our archival policy
  • Provide timely financial information to internal stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring documentation is clear and accessible
  • Assist with month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team, contributing to workflow efficiency and shared goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement, helping strengthen our systems and processes

Who we’re looking for
You’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work. You bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to adapt to evolving systems and processes
  • Clear and respectful communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and GST
  • Bachelor level Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
