Governess (Dubai based)

We are looking for a qualified and dynamic English-speaking governess to provide educational support and guidance to our 5-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a school setting, be energetic and motivated, and possess a kind, good-natured demeanor. A proactive approach to education, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of the curriculum are essential.

This is a temporary role (3 months) in Dubai, with working hours of 2–3 hours per day, five weekdays per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a monthly educational program tailored to the child’s interests and developmental needs.
• Conduct assessments at the beginning and end of each month to monitor progress.
• Deliver engaging lessons incorporating art, games, and practical activities to foster learning.
• Create and maintain a special learning space.
• Teamwork and effective communication are essential to ensure the best outcomes for the children’s development and education.
• Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when dealing with the family's personal matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching children aged 5 years.
• Recent experience working in a school environment.
• Deep knowledge of school curriculum
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and evaluate educational activities effectively.
• A proactive and energetic approach to teaching.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current educational curriculum.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Russian or Spanish
