GOLD Associate, Finance

The Global Organizational Leadership Development (GOLD) Program is Avery Dennison’s fast-track leadership platform designed to cultivate our future leaders. We are currently recruiting highly ambitious graduates to join this program. The GOLD journey develops an associate’s knowledge and skills through practical, technical, and managerial training, typically involving multiple high-impact projects across various functions and geographic regions. The program is specifically designed to provide challenging and meaningful work experience across critical functions within Finance, which includes:

• Credit Control.
• Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Supply Chain Finance.
• Finance Controlling.

Your Possible Roles:

This is a dynamic program featuring multiple challenging rotations across different Finance functions and potentially different locations. Specific tasks that you will get an opportunity to work on throughout your tenure includes:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Outsource Service Provider) to optimize Accounts Receivable (AR) working capital and proactively manage customer risk.
• Establish and approve credit lines and limitations for customer accounts, ensuring adherence to corporate credit policies.
• Proactively review AR aging reports with the team, resolve excessive past due transactions, and minimize exposure while ensuring timely payments and limiting debt.
• Conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis of key AR metrics and results, supporting working capital initiatives and contributing to business process improvements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
• Provide actionable insights through analysis of business trends, margins, and performance metrics to support executive decision-making.
• Support preparation of monthly business reviews, operations presentations, and regional FP&A reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives, enabling sustainable business growth.
• Drive supply chain strategy to enhance efficiency, optimize costs, and support business growth.
• Oversee plant and supply chain performance, providing actionable insights for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Operations leadership to improve asset utilization, streamline processes, and deliver savings initiatives.
• Implement robust governance and controls over inventory, procurement, and material flows.
• Drive financial strategy and performance management across Supply Chain and Operations to enable cost efficiency and business growth.
• Standardize key financial and operational metrics for productivity, working capital, CAPEX, and overall supply chain performance.
• Strengthen governance through robust controls over inventory, procurement, and material consumption.

...and other tasks according to the evolving business needs related to Finance.

Education:  

• Bachelor’s degree in degree with a major in Finance or Accounting, or a related discipline, with a satisfactory GPA of 3.00 and above. Newly qualified young CA/ACCA/CIMA will get preference.

Experience: 

• Recent graduates (within the last 6 months) and those completing their degree by this December are encouraged to apply.
• Internship experience in a global company is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Highly motivated, creative thinker & able to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
• Strong English and Bengali proficiency in both oral and writing is required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in university clubs, or extra-curricular activities; overseas study or exposure is a plus.
• Effectively communicates and influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable juggling multiple high-priority projects; sets and achieves challenging personal and project goals; and works independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to travel frequently (both locally and regionally) to support business projects and rotations.
