Go-To-Market Project Manager (Consultant)

AI overview

Lead execution-focused partner marketing campaigns for a global tech company, enhancing engagement and alignment across multiple teams while ensuring timely delivery and performance tracking.

We're excited to welcome new team members and are only considering candidates based in Washington State and Texas for this engagement. If you are not currently located in one of these states, you will not be considered.

We are looking for a scrappy, execution‑first Go-To-Marketing PM to keep a busy partner engine running smoothly. This role sits within the Partner Marketing team at a global technology company, and is dedicated to a specific subset of partners. You’ll own day‑to‑day partner engagement and campaign execution—coordinating across internal teams, keeping everyone aligned, and making sure commitments actually land. The ideal candidate is partner‑savvy, highly organized, and proactive: someone who understands how partners think, can operate independently, and loves to “get in the nitty gritty."

Please note:

  • This is a 6-month contract, with opportunity for extension.
  • It is a fully remote opportunity.

As a Go-To-Market Project Manager (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:

  • Execute partner marketing campaigns and promotions, ensuring activities launch on time and meet agreed‑upon goals.
  • Manage day‑to‑day engagement with a defined set of partners, becoming a trusted point of contact for marketing execution.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, operations) to align plans, content, and timelines.
  • Run and pull campaign and partner performance reports; share clear status updates and insights with stakeholders.
  • Own status updates, internal communication, and meeting cadence—scheduling, setting agendas, driving action items, and tracking follow‑through.
  • Follow up relentlessly to ensure tasks, deliverables, and partner commitments land as promised.
  • Support and evolve existing go‑to‑market plans with partners, helping keep activities aligned to partners’ annual priorities.
  • “Herd cats” across multiple workstreams, keeping work moving forward without needing step‑by‑step direction.

This job is for you if:

  • You excel in collaboration. You thrive in team settings, working effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive projects forward.
  • You are adaptable and resilient. You embrace change, manage shifting priorities with ease, and stay composed under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
  • You possess strong problem-solving skills. You approach challenges analytically and strategically, identifying obstacles early and implementing effective solutions.
  • You have a keen attention to detail. You ensure accuracy in project plans, timelines, and deliverables, recognizing that even small details can impact project success.
  • You are an effective communicator. You can distill complex information into clear, concise updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment at every stage.
  • You demonstrate leadership and influence. You proactively drive initiatives, inspire collaboration, and guide teams toward achieving project objectives—even without formal authority.
  • You are results-driven. You take ownership of tasks, set measurable goals, and continuously track progress to deliver successful outcomes.
  • You are committed to continuous learning. You seek opportunities to improve project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, staying ahead in an evolving industry.

Requirements

You have:

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, partner management, or closely related B2B marketing roles.
  • Strong track record of campaign and program execution (execution‑first, not strategy‑only).
  • Strong organizational skills with a bias for action—comfortable operating in ambiguity while pushing for clarity and progress.
  • Proven ability to manage complex coordination across multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and keep projects on track without heavy hand‑holding.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; able to motivate partners and internal teams, and keep everyone informed.
  • Proficiency with typical marketing and reporting tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with partner portals, CRMs, or similar systems is a plus)

Experience in at least one of the following (must have one):

  • Partner marketing / partner engagement for technology or ISV partners; or
  • Marketing experience in nonprofit or education environments.

You might also have:

  • ISV partner marketing experience and a deep understanding of how ISVs prioritize their investments.
  • Experience in customer support organizations or with solutions sold into support / service teams.
  • Background in strategy, business operations, or program management roles that required cross‑functional coordination.
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning processes and how large organizations make investment and prioritization decisions.
