ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

  • Under moderate guidance, prepare and market global new business & renewal submissions, including gathering information and the marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
  • Under minimal guidance, intake international property & casualty and employee benefits service request from all IMA market offices and process or assign accordingly.
  • Request loss runs from carriers and international broker partners.
  • Verify and reconcile accuracy of premium and commissions and prepare commissions statements for internal and external use as required.
  • Under minimal guidance, responsible for policy and information entry of accounts for all internal and partner data systems.
  • Act as liaison between IMA service teams and international broker partners for reverse flow accounts.
  • Responsible for creation of commission allocations for foreign revenues.
  • Responsible for creation of account workbooks, comparison spreadsheets, and summaries for all submitted, sold and bound coverages.
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Responds in a timely, accurate and friendly manner to Producers, Practice Leads, Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal associates.
  • Support the department team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:

    • At least 3 years of similar or related experience
    • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • Attains and/or maintains professional designation or license: CISR and/or CIC
    • Intermediate EPIC Applied Systems experience preferred
    • Experience with MS Office products required (specifically Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
    • Limited travel required (less than 25%)
    • Required: strong written and oral communication skills
    • Required: strong analytical and insurance interpretation skills
