What you’ll be doing

  • Own and drive global regulatory affairs activities for food and food supplement products across key markets (primarily UK & EU).
  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies that support business growth while ensuring full compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Act as a regulatory lead in cross-functional projects, partnering closely with R&D, Quality, Marketing, Legal, and Operations.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory intelligence, assessing the impact of changes and translating them into clear business actions.
  • Lead product registrations, notifications, and approvals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to relevant authorities.
  • Provide expert guidance on labelling, claims, formulations, and packaging compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to regulatory compliance and product safety, proposing mitigation strategies when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with competent authorities, external consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation including dossiers, technical files, and compliance records.
  • Train and support internal teams on regulatory requirements, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • University degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food or food supplements industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and EU food regulatory frameworks, standards, and guidelines.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and quality systems (e.g. ISO, HACCP, GMP).
  • Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments in fast-moving, commercial settings.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable working hands-on in a dynamic, evolving organisation.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
