Summary: The Global PR & Events Director will define and lead Huda Beauty’s global public relations and event strategy, elevating brand desirability, cultural relevance, and worldwide impact. This role leads the full lifecycle of PR and events, from strategic vision and creative concepting to execution and performance analysis.

Reporting to the VP of Communications, this leader shapes how the brand shows up in the world through powerful storytelling, best-in-class media relationships, and iconic global events that build long-term brand equity while driving commercial success. 

Success in this role requires a rare blend of strategic vision, creative instinct, operational excellence, and global leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global PR Strategy

  • Define and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy that strengthens brand visibility, image, and authority as a leading beauty brand.
  • Maintain a strong, consistent brand voice across all markets, channels, and touchpoints.
  • Establish and drive PR frameworks, processes, and best practices to enable excellence at a global scale.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Founder and senior leadership on brand narrative and positioning.

Media Relations & Strategic Partnerships

  • Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with top-tier global media, editors, creators, and key opinion leaders.
  • Position the brand as a reference partner for innovation in beauty across classic and social media ecosystems.
  • Initiate and lead disruptive, culturally relevant collaborations with media platforms and industry leaders.
  • Serve as the senior PR lead for major global brand moments, announcements, and initiatives.

Global Events Strategy & Execution

  • Define and own the global event strategy for the company, aligned with brand vision and business priorities.
  • Build and manage a global event calendar, ensuring clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency across all markets.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global and regional events from creative concept and experience design to execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Partner with regional teams to optimize scale, resources, and impact while maintaining brand excellence.
  • Ensure events are experiential, culturally powerful, and commercially meaningful.

Performance, Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish clear KPIs for PR and Events performance across markets.
  • Analyze results, identify learnings, and drive continuous efficiency improvements and ROI optimization.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a global leader and functional reference for PR & Events teams across markets.
  • Inspire teams to think creatively while executing with discipline and rigor.
  • Partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Brand Marketing, Social, and Commercial teams to ensure full alignment with business objectives.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Operational & Financial Excellence

  • Own and manage global PR & Events budgets with rigor, ensuring cost efficiency and high-impact allocation.
  • Bring strong analytical capability to planning, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organization, prioritization, and execution skills in a fast-paced global environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of senior experience in PR, events, or integrated brand communications, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact PR campaigns and global events across traditional and social media ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of the global media landscape (classic and social) with an established network of senior editors, creators, and industry partners.
  • Strong strategic vision with the ability to translate brand goals into impactful global PR and event initiatives.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with a builder mindset and hands-on approach to execution.
  • Exceptional relationship-building capabilities internally and externally, with high emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate diverse global markets with nuance.
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and integrating responsible practices into PR and event programs.
  • Highly results-oriented, with strong analytical capability for planning, forecasting, KPI tracking, and ROI evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, agility, and executive presence.
  • Multilingual abilities and global market experience are a strong plus.
