AI overview

Own and develop strategic partnership with Accenture, integrating Claude's solutions into their enterprise practice, while driving execution in priority markets.

About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a strategic partnership leader to own and develop our relationship with Accenture, one of our most significant systems integrator partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming how one of the world's largest professional services firms adopts and deploys Claude across their enterprise practice.

You will orchestrate the complete relationship across all dimensions: Accenture as a customer, as a co-selling partner, and as a channel for reaching enterprise clients. This includes defining where Anthropic invests resources with Accenture, which markets and verticals receive focus, and how we structure the partnership for maximum mutual value creation.

This role requires someone who can engage credibly at the C-suite level with Accenture's global leadership while simultaneously driving execution in priority markets. You will partner closely with Accenture to build production-grade solutions powered by Claude that define the agentic enterprise, while ensuring these implementations reflect Anthropic's commitment to safe and beneficial AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategic roadmap, investment decisions, and revenue accountability for our Accenture partnership
  • Build and maintain executive relationships within Accenture's leadership to position Claude as the foundational technology for their AI practice
  • Develop comprehensive enablement programs that help Accenture's global workforce understand Claude's capabilities and differentiation
  • Partner with Accenture to co-develop industry-specific solutions and reference architectures that showcase Claude's unique capabilities in reasoning, safety, and enterprise readiness
  • Establish success criteria for joint accounts and create feedback loops that drive continuous improvement
  • Lead the pursuit of significant enterprise deals through our partnership, ensuring proper positioning and support throughout complex sales cycles

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Have 10+ years of experience managing strategic partnerships with tier-one systems integrators (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Capgemini, IBM) or similar enterprise partnerships
  • Possess existing VP+ level relationships within Accenture or comparable organizations and understand how to navigate complex organizational structures
  • Have previously owned partnerships generating significant influenced or direct revenue ($100M+)
  • Have led or significantly influenced large enterprise deals ($10M+) and understand the mechanics of complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Bring experience building partnerships in high-growth technology categories where partner enablement, competitive positioning, and technical differentiation were critical success factors
  • Have operated successfully in global roles requiring coordination across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Are comfortable with revenue accountability and understand P&L management and forecasting in channel partnership contexts

Strong candidates may also:

  • Have direct experience with AI/ML technology partnerships and can articulate technical differentiation to both partners and enterprise buyers
  • Bring a track record of building partnership programs from early stages through scale
  • Have experience establishing enablement and certification programs for large partner organizations
  • Understand how to balance visionary partnership strategy with pragmatic execution and daily operational excellence

Location and Travel:

This role can be based in San Francisco, New York, or London, with significant travel expected (40-50%) to engage with Accenture leadership globally and support market-tipping opportunities in priority regions. Face time with partner executives and presence at critical deal moments is essential to success.

Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
