Role Purpose 

The Global Operational Performance Finance Analyst supports the Global Operational Performance Finance team in enhancing visibility, transparency, and consistency of operational financial performance across Unilabs. 

This role is data-oriented and hands-on, focused on financial processes, tools, tracking, and reporting. It plays a key role in ensuring reliable monthly closing and reforecasting activities, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to P&L performance, financial indicators, cost efficiency management, savings programs, and assets and investments tracking across laboratory and radiology operations

The position offers strong exposure to international operations, strategic finance topics, and a steep learning curve within a complex and dynamic environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Financial Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Support the consolidation of monthly operational P&L performance reporting 
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing, and reforecasting processes 
  • Track and analyse key operational financial indicators across activities 

 

Processes, Templates & Tools 

  • Support the development, maintenance, and adoption of standardized financial processes, templates, and reporting tools 
  • Ensure consistent application of methodologies and definitions across markets 
  • Actively support local teams in the adoption and correct use of global tools 

 

Cost Efficiency & Savings Programs 

  • Support the tracking and financial performance measurement of cost efficiency initiatives and savings programs 
  • Monitor savings realization versus plans and budgets 
  • Contribute to variance analysis and performance explanations 

 

Assets & Investments Follow-Up 

  • Support financial tracking and analysis of assets, CAPEX, and investment performance for laboratory and radiology operations 
  • Contribute to post-investment follow-up and performance monitoring 
  • Support asset utilization and efficiency analysis 

 

Data Quality & Continuous Improvement 

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting cycles 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial transparency, automation, and insight quality 
  • Contribute to the evolution of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting content 

 

Team & Cross-Functional Support 

  • Support the Global Operational Performance Finance team in analyses and initiatives 
  • Collaborate with local finance teams, operations, and partner functions 
  • Act as a reliable contributor to group-level finance initiatives

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field 
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in controlling, FP&A, or operational finance 
  • Fluent in English 
  • Exposure to operational P&L management, cost control, or performance tracking 
  • Exposure to healthcare, medical diagnostics, or other operationally complex environments is a plus 

 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills with attention to detail 
  • Comfortable working with financial systems, reporting tools, and large datasets 
  • Structured, organized, and process-oriented mindset 
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures
