Lead the development of the IT Service Management (ITSM) Platform, enhancing user experience and efficiency while ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
PLATFORM OWNERSHIP
As a Global ITSM Platform Owner, you translate needs into a well-groomed backlog and lead the development of the IT Service Management (ITSM) Platform. You continually increase the value of our ITSM platform, in terms of improved user experience & satisfaction, utility, and efficiency. Keeping pace with industry trends and best practices, you will seek ways to enhance the effectiveness of the ITSM platform. You are responsible for developing and prioritizing a strategic roadmap that aligns with business goals, ensuring the platform evolves to meet organizational needs and delivers maximum value to stakeholders.
TECHNICAL GOVERNANCE
You define and maintain good governance to ensure that our platform remains performant and supportable over the coming years. You ensure our integrations with other systems use scalable and sustainable approaches, focusing on minimizing technical debt. Advocating for simplicity, you will capture business requirements and strive for elegant, repeatable, scalable, and long-term solutions. Leveraging vendor, industry frameworks, best practices, and lessons learned from other like-minded companies will be part of this role.
STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
You lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, effective scope management, and adherence to budget. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and prioritization is part of your role.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
You manage relationships with the ITSM platform vendor and service providers. Coordinating multiple vendors for technical investigations, incident resolution, and solution enhancements will be part of your responsibilities. You manage vendors for both project and operational delivery, ensuring ongoing compliance with our service level and service quality expectations.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager or Platform Owner
Practical Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and experience with tools like Jira/Azure DevOps and Confluence
Technical affinity, ideally experience with APIs and their design
ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher) Certification
Fluent in English, German is a plus
Critical thinker with a solid understanding of enterprise governance & system-to-system integrations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with diverse teams
Independent self-starter with the aim “get things done”
Passion for understanding the business needs and translating them in good solutions
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,535 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
