Position: Global I&E Marketing Analyst Intern
Location: KEEN’s Global Headquarters in Portland, Oregon (on-site)
Duration: 10 weeks
Compensation: $22/hour
Program Duration: Monday, June 15th – Friday, August 21st
What You'll Do
As an Intern at KEEN (KEENtern), you’ll dive into the exciting world of footwear, innovation, and community! You’ll get hands-on experience working alongside industry experts and contribute to shaping the future of KEEN.
The Marketing Analyst Intern will work closely with Global Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver on four high-impact priorities, incorporating AI where it enhances efficiency and insight quality:
Market & Consumer (Fan) Insight Reports – Conduct market benchmarking, fan surveys/interviews, and trend analyses to inform upstream Strategy & Creative briefs. Use AI tools for social listening, sentiment analysis, and trend forecasting to surface emerging consumer insights.
KPI Frameworks & Templates – Develop standardized QBR and recap templates, along with story-filtering criteria aligned to brand and business KPIs. Integrate automated KPI dashboards using generative AI (e.g., Power BI Copilot, Tableau GPT) to produce natural language performance summaries.
Global Data Collection Tools – Create cross-regional templates and documentation to ensure consistent KPI tracking and reporting.
Strategic Research Projects – Support post-season recaps and brand health tracking across campaigns and investment categories. Leverage AI for campaign impact summarization, brand health tracking automation, and to prototype a lightweight internal AI “marketing insights assistant” that can answer key performance questions such as which stories achieved the strongest adoption or engagement globally.
This role will provide visibility into how marketing insights translate into creative focus, operational efficiency, and stronger brand performance while equipping the intern with foundational skills in data analysis, AI-assisted research, and global marketing operations.
