Purpose

The purpose of this role is to act as a strategic finance partner to Global Finance and Business leadership by shaping the enterprise reporting, analytics and insights agenda. The role leads the Global Finance Reporting & Analytics Centre of Excellence, translating business strategy into a clear analytics and reporting roadmap that drives value, improves decision quality, and enables performance management at scale.

The role is accountable for stakeholder alignment, strategic prioritisation, and value realisation, and for the operating model, governance and change adoption that underpin Finance master data, reporting catalogue design and enterprise analytics capabilities, including the deployment and adoption of AI tools in finance reporting and analytics.

Accountability

Strategic Stakeholder Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Manage Finance leadership, Business, Group Management Reporting and other internal stakeholders, proactively shaping demand, aligning expectations, prioritising requests and ensuring delivery of reporting and analytics services that meet agreed business outcomes.
  • Lead governance and prioritization forums, managing trade‑offs and escalations.

Strategy and direction setting

  • Own the multi‑year Reporting & Analytics strategy and portfolio aligned to Finance and enterprise strategy.
  • Define value metrics and ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive disciplined demand management and resource prioritization.
  • Drive pragmatic adoption of cloud, BI and new technology solutions focused on business value.
  • Own and drive the end‑to‑end architecture of the Finance BI and analytics landscape, setting principles and standards across data platforms, integration, semantic layers, reporting tools and visualisation to ensure scalability, consistency, and alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.

Operating Model, Governance & Finance Master Data

  • Define and evolve the Information Management & Reporting operating model.
  • Act as custodian of Finance master data and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with Group Management Reporting on Group BI strategy.
  • Champion self‑service analytics with strong quality guardrails.
  • Lead enterprise‑wide change and adoption initiatives for reporting and analytics.
  • Measure adoption, usage and value realisation.
  • Set quality standards for data, analytics and visualisation.
  • Ensure reliable, controlled month, quarter and year‑end reporting.
  • Manage vendors, partners and contractors effectively.

People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing global team.
  • Build future‑ready capabilities in analytics, storytelling and business partnering.
  • Drive engagement, succession planning and talent development.

 

Critical experience

  • 10-15 years of experience of successfully delivering reporting & analytics solutions in a complex multi-national environment with a min. 5 years’ experience in BI and  analytics area
  • Solid experience in business performance management, definition and management of effective KPIs and metrics
  • Solid understanding of financial KPIs and financial reporting
  • Experience in designing Reporting requirements for enabling business decision making
  • Working knowledge of technology stacks (data warehouse, data lake, ETL, reporting, analytics, AI tools etc.)
  • Strong business analysis and project management skills; experience applying agile methodology is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Finance Master data

Education required:

  • Masters in Economics or Finance
  • B.tech with relevant work experience
