Global Hardware Sourcing & Supply Manager

About The Role

Together AI is rapidly scaling its infrastructure, and we need versatile supply chain professionals to help evolve and strengthen our supply chain. In this role, you will develop sourcing strategies for our hardware supply chain with a focus on system integrators, distributors, and data center services.  You will help identify suppliers, build sourcing systems and frameworks required to support global infrastructure expansion. This is a high-impact position with direct executive visibility; your decisions will shape how quickly and cost-effectively the company can deploy compute at scale. You are a pragmatic problem-solver with strong attention to detail who excels in solving operational challenges in a rapidly evolving environments

You will work closely with senior leaders across Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Finance, serving as the connective tissue between what the company needs to build and how it gets the hardware to build it.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full strategic sourcing and procurement lifecycle for a core set of operational partners, including System Integrators, Data Center Service Providers, 3PL and others for large-scale cluster operations.
• Design, optimize and execute the global supply strategy for logistics, warehousing, system integrator, and other service providers.
• Develop inventory planning process and supply risk mitigation for high value hardware
• Track hardware and data center service markets for supply shifts, pricing dynamics, component roadmaps, and geopolitical risks. Translate market intelligence into sourcing and supply chain recommendations to optimize TCO
• Own strategic supplier relationships across all service, SI, and asset lifecycle categories, driving performance through regular executive reviews, joint planning, and clear accountability frameworks. Qualify and onboard new vendors as the infrastructure supply chain diversifies.
• Align supply chain strategy with technical roadmaps and capital plans. Provide visibility into supply chain status, risks, and investment trade-offs at the executive level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in hardware strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within data center infrastructure, cloud computing, or high-performance computing environments.
• Deep and direct experience with the full compute hardware stack (GPUs, servers, networking, storage), including expertise in major OEM/ODM supplier landscapes, semiconductor supply chain dynamics, and hands-on experience managing data cener services for AI at scale.
• Experience structuring long-term supply agreements across pricing, delivery, and risk dimensions.
• Experience working with supply chain models, supply risk mitigation and performing data analysis related to demand forecasting and inventory strategy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and cross-functional partners.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze cost data and contribute to financial trade-off discussions.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites
• Must have recent experience in high-growth, ambiguous environments where processes are being defined rather than inherited

Nice to Have

• Experience with ERP, Inventory management software, procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Coupa, NetSuite, Zip)

Compensation

We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance, and other benefits, as well as flexibility in terms of remote work. The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $150-170K + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by location, level and role. Individual compensation will be determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
