Global Customer Quality Manager

  • Focus on RFID technology quality and methodologies for inlay, converting, print/encode in S.Asia (e.g. VN, TH, BD, PK, ID, MY) and Pacific countries (AU, NZ), for a range of industries such as , Apparel & Retails industry (including Licensed Channel Partners).

  • Identify, document, and enforce compliance to customer’s quality requirements for related functional stakeholders in driving business project success to build credibility with the clients.

  • Manages clients(s)’ complaint resolution process, while also supporting Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to resolve product quality issues.

  • Drive Functional stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction with the quality and agility of solutions responses & initiatives.

  • Ensure timely deliverables of key escalated quality issues by interacting and driving root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and/or countermeasures with production and local QC personnel, Suppliers, and other functions as needed( PLT, R&D)..  

  • Devise and implement world-class quality knowledge and practice (e.g., 8D, Pareto Analysis, Histograms, Cause & Effect Diagrams, PFMEA / QCP, SPC / Cpk, etc.) leveraging on other key functional teams.

  • Organize regular reviews with regional inlay manufacturing sites to understand performance metrics and best practices sharing. Ensure end-to-end quality in the RFID manufacturing process by monitoring and auditing production facilities.

  • Ability to lead and drive key projects with function lead to support continuous improvement and overall global quality strategy.

  • Coordinate, document, and enforce the efficient information flow of product specifications and quality control plans with key business function teams such as R&D, Platform, Operations, and Product Line Management.

  • Knowledge of Quality standards and test procedures as necessary to comply with Quality system requirements (i.e. ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, IATF, etc). Lead auditor Certification preferred. 

  • Other tasks assigned by the Global Quality leader.

  • 10+ years of related quality engineering experience required

  • Strong knowledge and acumen in RFID operation or application technology are preferred

  • Working knowledge of printing technologies including flexo, thermal, offset, digital, and inkjet is preferred

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability and demonstrated ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements, especially in cases of escalations.

  • Ability to work well across global boundaries with all levels of management, employees, and willingness to work on a “global clock”.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% or greater

  • Excellent communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information, and ideas tactfully and confidently to internal and external contacts.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Experience working with Google platforms.

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred major in Engineering.
