Global Client Solutions: Relationship Management - Analyst

TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR’s Client Solutions team is focused on developing and expanding the firm’s institutional relationships by providing support for fundraising and relationship management efforts. The team is involved in various tasks including client analyses and briefing notes, meeting preparation, sales territory management, client follow-ups, CRM database management, and creating client presentations. The team also provides ongoing LP support and is heavily involved in the due diligence process between investors and KKR funds.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is seeking an Analyst level role working alongside the Client Solutions Relationship Management team in our Sydney office. This position will be supporting two to three Client Solutions Relationship Managers on their fundraising, relationship, and business management activities. The team is currently comprised of 3 professionals focused on client relationships (interaction with Limited Partners and client prospects), across all business strategies (public and private funds) for KKR.

This position will work closely with the relationship management and product teams on tasks including client presentations, meeting preparation, fund marketing, sales territory management, CRM database management and, as they arise, client specific follow-up requests and projects. This position will also involve some elements of business planning and budgeting.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant institutional sales experience at an investment bank, asset management firm, or large financial institution
  • Bachelor’s degree, CFA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Basic understanding of alternative investment products and the investors in the space
  • Relevant experience with problem solving on tasks related to clients’ objectives and needs would be preferred
  • A strong sense of teamwork
  • An entrepreneurial and creative self-starter who takes initiative, works in direct and positive partnership with clients and colleagues, and is results-oriented with clear scorecard/measures of individual, team, and franchise success
  • The ability to communicate with clients and advisors at the highest standards
  • Organizational maturity to operate successfully in a dynamic global investment business and multicultural environment
  • Commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct, consistent with the expectations of investors, the regulatory requirements of the region, and the reputation of the Firm he/she will represent
