About the role: Your 14-month mission

This is a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave, offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional to step in and lead Bikmo's global brand presence.

As our Global Brand Manager, you’ll make sure Bikmo stands out as the top choice for cyclists across the globe, while championing our mission to "protect the world’s riders and the places we ride". 

This is an exciting role for someone who thrives on juggling multiple projects and loves balancing big-picture strategy with rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Given the fixed term, you will be expected to quickly hit the ground running, take ownership of key initiatives, and deliver measurable impact over the 14 months.


How you will contribute

  • Lead the creation of brand marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse cycling communities across territories
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Manage Bikmo’s organic social media presence across territories
  • Support the performance team with content and campaign copy
  • Identify, manage and engage Bikmo’s sponsorships (e.g. podcasts, athletes, influencers)
  • Lead Bikmo’s global ambassador program to amplify Bikmo’s presence across social and harness affiliate marketing 
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for brand innovation, including new sponsorships or campaigns
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and consumer insights, ensuring the brand remains relevant and appealing
  • Take ownership of Bikmo’s PR including writing and sending press releases when required
  • Work with a set marketing budget to maximise Bikmo’s growth and awareness
  • Report on marketing effectiveness and work towards set KPIs


What we’re looking for

  • We are looking for a candidate who is available to start quickly and who is comfortable committing to a 14-month contract.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial - you’re committed to getting things done and can be resourceful in your approach 
  • Confident in engaging with various stakeholders including senior management, external industry partners and the overall cycling community
  • Enjoy collaborating - as part of your role, you’ll be working closely with the marketing team and external creatives 
  • A passion for cycling and knowledge of different cycling tribes
  • Willingness to travel and occasional weekend work due to the nature of events
