The Mission:
Reporting directly to the General Manager of the U.S. and Canada, the mission is to develop new lines of revenue via new partnerships and novel industry entry points. Working as the driver of a new sales strategy to find and build new partnerships with organizations of all sizes. Beyond revenue growth, this individual will be responsible for the development of a system to properly receive, train, and eventually handover new partnerships to the Channel Account team.
In the long term, the position needs to be the seed that develops the structure of the Worldsensing Global Account Growth approach.
Responsibilities:

Global Account strategy
- Take ownership of existing Global Account strategy and manage strategy for all Global Accounts headquartered in the U.S. or Canada
- Leverage existing Worldsensing relationships with Global Accounts outside of U.S. and Canada for development in region
- Convince Global Accounts to better and more consistently utilize, prescribe, and/or distribute the Worldsensing portfolio
- Properly track progress and develop contact maps of Global Accounts with resolution between different countries, states/provinces, and even offices
- Present Global Account progress on a quarterly cadence to leadership

Development of new partnerships
- Leverage industry data to find new verticals for Worldsensing success and revenue growth
- Discover and approach organizations for new direct partnerships
- Work closely with new channel partners to understand their business strategy and implement actions to support their growth. This includes identifying key targets and tactics for each industry they are focused on, aligning strategies to their objectives, and providing tailored support to enhance their capabilities and success in those markets.
- Move new partners through Commercial and Technical Onboarding procedures
- Constantly review the new partner's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management.
- Grow personal and professional networks through consistent engagement and relationship building.

New partner on-boarding
- With assistance from the U.S. & Canada team, develop a new partner on-boarding strategy
- Implement strategy for all new partners added in a calendar year
- Work with management and other regional leaders to ensure on-boarding strategy is developed in a way that is scalable and can be implemented in any region
- Ensure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, and sales, and within the given time scales.
Requirements:
● General business training and you have 5 to 7+ years experience in a similar position and in the sale of services and equipment.
● Experience with Global Account management and strategic focus selling
● Experience working with Global ESPs - e.g., AECOM, WSP, etc. - as a customer, partner, and/or employee
- Successful business experience in the field of Instrumentation and Monitoring and/or any of the Worldsensing sectors: Civil engineering, Oil & Gas, Mining, Environment, etc.
● An engineering degree is a plus.
● A strong geotechnical background will be a strong advantage for this position.
● Fluent in English.
● Available to travel at least 30-40% of the time.
