German speaking Banking Specialist in Securities Transfer

We are the Securities Transfer & Trade Processing team within the Banking Operations department. We are responsible for reviewing transactions and delivering securities. Our international team is based in Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, and India (Pune). Our mission is to provide excellent service to our clients.

Your key tasks

• Organize and monitor the settlement of transactions with and without payment (e.g., bonds, equities, ETFs, funds) as well as market trades
• Manage deliveries for transactions free of payment and against payment
• Reconcile cash and securities transactions
• Support the further development and technical optimization of the Avaloq Core Banking platform
• Solid knowledge of SWIFT messages (MT54x) and expert knowledge of Standard Settlement Instructions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve service quality and client satisfaction; support and implement changes in daily operations
• Ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery in line with agreed Service Level Agreements
• Build positive relationships with custodian banks and clients to enhance service quality

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or other related area
• 3+ years of experience in Securities Transfer- Banking Operations, or back-office processing in the banking or financial services domain
• In-depth expertise in securities settlement
• Strong communication skills, process-oriented thinking, and the ability to grasp complex situations
• Proactive attitude, high integrity, and reliability
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Good understanding of operational risks
• Proficient in German with strong English communication skills

Preferred:

• Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System
