Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical engineering evaluations and analysis, including deep foundations, slope stability, and settlement assessments.
Operate independently on routine assignments while managing small teams.
Travel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle to oversee fieldwork.
Provide guidance and oversight to staff professionals for the collection of field data.
Mentor and develop junior geotechnical staff to enhance team expertise.
Review and interpret field samples for geotechnical analysis and reporting.
Schedule and manage subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
Develop and manage client projects, ensuring strong relationships and high-quality service.
Create and update project proposals and reports to maintain project accuracy and scope.
Review, update, and approve invoices weekly for ongoing projects.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned to support geotechnical operations.
Preferred Experience
Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (required); Master’s in Civil Engineering (preferred).
Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Missouri. (Ability to obtain within 1 year of employment)
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
