Scout's geospatial intern will contribute to the geospatial team's goal of fostering successful renewable project development by leveraging data throughout the project lifecycle. You will utilize your analytical skills to enhance the processes of the geospatial team and directly support the development of utility scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects. As an intern, you will work on a summer project in addition to contributing to the core functions of the geospatial team. This project will be agreed upon at the beginning of the internship according to business needs and your interests and expertise as the intern. Examples of potential projects can be found below. The core functions of the geospatial group include both web and static map creation, project site assessment, systems integration, and data management.

This position will begin in May/June 2026. The internship will be a full-time (40 hr/week) commitment for the duration of the 12-week internship program. Our ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office during the duration of the internship program per the program requirements.

Compensation
Hourly pay: $25-30/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
