Who The Client Is: The first business is a boutique skincare and wellness e-commerce brand dedicated to curated products that enhance daily living. The brand voice is professional, clean, and customer-centric. The second business is a specialized e-commerce store operating in the trading card game and collectibles niche, catering to a passionate, hobbyist community. Both businesses are family-owned and operated.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized Generalist Virtual Assistant (VA) to manage the day-to-day operations of our two e-commerce businesses. This is a diverse role that requires a mix of administrative efficiency and creative flair. You will be the engine behind our customer service, content updates, and general digital maintenance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the primary inboxes for both brands, ensuring all customer inquiries are answered within 24 hours.
  • Handle order updates, tracking inquiries, and returns/exchanges with a high level of empathy and detail.
  • Create on-brand graphics and promotional assets using Canva.
  • Assist with social media posting and writing engaging blog posts or newsletters.
  • Manage social media comment moderation and engagement.
  • Draft clear and persuasive product descriptions.
  • Basic back-end administration, including uploading new products and updating inventory.
  • Ensuring product pages look professional and links are functioning correctly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a Virtual Assistant, ideally within the e-commerce sector.
  • Proficiency in Shopify and Canva is mandatory.
  • Strong English copywriting skills with the ability to adapt your "voice" to suit both a refined skincare brand and a dedicated trading card game audience.
  • Familiarity with email handling tools and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure nothing falls through the cracks between the two businesses.
