What to expect in the job?

• As part of the factory's abattoir team, the successful candidate will produce cuts and trims of meat according to Kepak specifications, maintaining efficiency at line speed.
  
• The role involves meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality standards are met.
  
  
  

What we need from you?

The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing meat to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis. A successful candidate will be required to:

• Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate good character—hardworking, self-driven, and reliable.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Meet production targets while maintaining the required line speed.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Operate machinery, but only when properly trained.
• Prior knife skills and butchery experience in fast-paced food manufacturing are beneficial.
• Show a willingness to learn and assist with additional tasks as needed under the guidance of the Line Supervisor..
• Maintain a safety-conscious mindset and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Pay attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards.
• Communicate effectively within the team.
