The Role Join Waterworks as a General Manager for our flagship Los Angeles showroom; including a satellite location in Brentwood plus Southern California territory. This is a dynamic leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and brand presence in one of our most high-profile markets. As General Manager, you will lead a high-performing sales team, develop strategic business plans, and build strong relationships within the design and architecture community. Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop the Team
  • Coach and inspire a sales team to deliver exceptional results and client experiences.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent for future growth.
  • Foster accountability and empower the team to resolve client issues with a servant-leadership approach.

  • Drive Market Performance
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the showroom and territory.
  • Implement strategies to position Waterworks as the leader in luxury bath and kitchen.
  • Oversee CRM, pipeline management, and reporting to ensure sales effectiveness.
  • Maintain showroom operations and uphold brand standards.

  • Build Client Relationships
  • Strengthen partnerships with key accounts and industry organizations.
  • Represent Waterworks at design events, networking groups, and client engagements.
  • Support the team in securing new business and expanding market share.
  • Other duties and accountabilities as assigned.

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in sales leadership within a luxury brand; 5+ years in inside/outside sales.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience closing high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM systems and virtual client engagement.
  • Well-connected within the Los Angeles/Southern California design trade.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, tile, or construction is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the market and to HQ
  • This role has a base salary plus is eligible for a generous bonus plan.

    Waterworks may require physical requirements within its Showroom locations as follows:
    Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques. Ability to maneuver effectively around showroom floor, stock room and office. Position could entail periods of standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing. Licensed to drive preferred. Ability to travel locally or out of state.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, pull/push, climb and balance, and to be elevated up to 20 feet in the air on harnessed equipment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds with assistance from one other Associate and use of proper technique. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
