Our client, a global European precision automotive parts manufacturer, is seeking an experienced General Managerto lead their Tennessee facility. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L responsibility, reporting directly to the US President.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, quality, and IT operations
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the facility
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949/ISO standards and all regulatory requirements
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure delivery commitments are met
  • Oversee purchasing agreements, including raw material procurement and cost controls
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in automotive manufacturing
  • 8-10+ years in management/leadership positions
  • Proven P&L experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Direct experience in fineblanking, precision stamping, or metal forming operations
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO certification requirements
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and developing teams
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with Plex ERP system
  • Background with European-owned organizations
