What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day General Ledger activities, including month-end closing and reporting
  • Act as a key member of the COE Lithuania leadership team, contributing to strategic and operational decisions
  • Own and continuously improve the Record-to-Report process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and digitalization across GL activities
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements
  • Monitor performance KPIs and support target setting together with the Head of COE Lithuania
  • Lead, coach, and develop the GL team, fostering a strong feedback and performance culture
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members and upskill the existing team
  • Collaborate closely with Global Finance, other functions, and business stakeholders on projects and ad hoc initiatives

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally from an international FMCG, consumer healthcare, or fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in General Ledger accounting within an ERP-based setup
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay)
  • Previous people management experience in a transactional finance environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
  • High proficiency in Excel and digital finance tools
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Hands-on, structured, and comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
