CloudSmiths is seeking a detail-oriented General Finance Clerk to join our Finance department. In this contract role, you will work closely with the Financial Manager to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and maintain the integrity of our financial data.This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks to support the team, including:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries using Sage Intact
- Perform accurate reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Answer financial questions from employees and vendors and collaborate with other departments to gather information as needed.
- Stay up to date with accounting principles and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a financial role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Sage Intact or a similar financial system is required
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidentiality with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
