Giga builds the electrical infrastructure that powers the modern world. We manufacture transformers, switchboards, and modular data centers for customers across the United States and the globe. Together, our team combines fresh perspectives with deep industry experience to solve real-world problems for our customers. We move fast and think practically. If you're ready to make an impact in an industry that matters, we're looking for people like you.
Giga was founded by two Texas A&M grads who started welding modular data centers in East Texas in 2019. Frustrated by the broken infrastructure industry—forced to choose between speed, quality, or fair pricing—they built something different: the only vertically integrated energy infrastructure company that controls site development, manufacturing, and power markets under one roof.
The results: 140 employees across 5 global offices. We've delivered 3.5 GW of equipment (1000+ transformers, 200+ switchboards, 735+ data centers) and have 400+ MW in our pipeline.
We're disrupting a $100B+ market, and our exit strategy is crystal clear: Maximum Valuation and an IPO. Join us to help ring the bell on Wall Street.
We're profitable, revenue-fueled, and scaling fast—154 MW operating today, 250+ MW next year, and targeting an IPO in our future. But speed without legal infrastructure is a risk. As our first General Counsel, you'll build the legal foundation that protects us as we scale and position us for public markets.
This isn't a maintenance role. You'll architect legal, compliance, and governance systems from scratch for a business that spans energy development, manufacturing, data center operations, and international supply chains. You'll negotiate major customer contracts, structure complex real estate and power deals, navigate multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements, and prepare us for SEC scrutiny.
You'll be the strategic legal partner to our CEO, translating business velocity into defensible legal frameworks. If you've taken a company public and want to do it again in a category-defining infrastructure business, this is your opportunity.
Remote. Regular travel to our operational sites and global offices for offsites and meetings
The Opportunity: Join as the founding legal leader at a profitable, revenue-fueled company with proven product-market fit. You'll build the legal infrastructure for a category-defining business, guide us through IPO, and own meaningful pre-IPO equity. This is the rare combination of startup impact with public company trajectory—and the financial stability to execute boldly. If you want to be the GC who architected the legal foundation for modular AI infrastructure's path to Wall Street, let's talk.
