GEN AI Engineer (Azure)

TLDR

Design and deploy Generative AI solutions using Azure services and Large Language Models while collaborating with diverse teams to create scalable production systems.

Role Overview

As a GenAI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy Generative AI solutions using Azure AI services and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work closely with product, engineering, and cloud teams to develop PoCs, pilots, and MVPs that can scale into production-grade AI systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or cloud-based development
  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Azure ML, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG patterns
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or similar programming languages
  • Experience building PoCs, pilots, and MVPs for AI solutions
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Familiarity with DevOps / MLOps concepts is a plus
