Gen AI Developer

Flexible working - We are currently operating a discretionary hybrid working model which is designed to help you plan your work and your life. We want our people to come into the office at least two days a week.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced Gen AI projects, particularly working with concepts like advanced RAG, fine tuning LLM models, knowledge graphs, chain of thought prompting, and to contribute to platforms that are scalable to global scale.

Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Design and build high-quality, highly reliable software solutions.
• Develop and implement AI/ML models with a focus on Generative AI, using open source as well as commercial models.
• Ensure software platforms are scalable, maintainable, testable and efficient.

Collaboration:

• Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and business subject-matter experts.
• Collaborate with other development teams to integrate solutions seamlessly.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure all software platforms comply with PA Consulting’s security policies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge and deep experience with Python and its toolchains.
• Extensive experience using AI/ML technologies, particularly Generative AI frameworks
• Proficient with CI/CD and DevOps tools/frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AI development methods
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and system architecture.
• Experienced in building and running micro-services at scale.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Development experience with at least one public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Programming Languages:

• Proficiency in Python is essential.
• Familiarity with other modern programming languages is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and apply rapidly changing technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Teamplayer

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience in consulting or similar environments is a plus.
