[GBL] Senior Automation Test Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript + Playwright)

Working with a cloud-native environment and a scalable front-end ecosystem, we are building secure, intuitive, and personalized experiences. Position – how you’ll contribute:

• Build and maintain automated test suites for web applications 
• Develop smoke, regression, and integration tests (JavaScript/TypeScript) 
• Implement test automation using Playwright and Jest 
• Collaborate with developers in CI/CD pipelines 
• Ensure proper coverage across functional and non-functional areas 
• Conduct load and performance testing when required 
• Maintain test documentation and drive quality metrics 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and issue triage 

Expectations – the experience you need:

• Strong experience in test automation for web applications 
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting 
• Hands-on with Playwright (or similar automation tools) 
• Familiarity with Jest for unit/integration test automation 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) 
• Knowledge of REST APIs testing 
• Experience working with Agile teams and modern DevOps practices 
• Clear communication and attention to detail in defect reporting 

Additional skills - the edge you have:

• Load testing using Artillery + Playwright engine 
• Understanding of AWS or serverless environments 
• Knowledge of authentication flows (Auth0 or similar) 
• Familiarity with data validation for DynamoDB/PostgreSQL 
• Cross-browser and mobile testing experience 
• Exposure to analytics and tracking validation (Amplitude, Braze)
