Gatwick Airport Terminal Cleaner

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Cleaners for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. All positions offer full-time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay:
• Day Shift: £12.60 per hour
• Night Shift: £13.65 per hour
• Both Day and Night shifts are available.
• Day Shift: 06:00 am to 18:00 pm (12-hour shifts)
• Night Shift: 18:00 pm to 06:00 am (12-hour shifts)
• Shift Pattern: 4-on / 4-off
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)
• Full training provided.
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:

• Cleaning all areas of the terminal (including rest rooms/toilets).
• Hoovering, mopping, and dusting high and low-level areas.
• Working to deadlines set by airport authorities.
• Documenting routine inspections.
• Working as part of a team.
• Completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Using various cleaning equipment in line with training.
• Adhering to airport security processes.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience would be preferred, but isn't essential.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Great work ethic.
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
• UK Settled Status (If applicable)
• Proof of National Insurance.
• Proof of (current) Address.
• 5 Year Address History.
• 5 Year Work Reference History.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.

PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
