In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Game Designers to ensure our future updates are smooth, fluent, and fun. You’ll be a vital part of the team, helping us balance levels and even exploring the future of play through AI-assisted prototyping for new game concepts.
This is a paid 6-month internship, with a preferred start in May or June 2026. Please note that relocation or visa support is not provided for internship roles. Our team is based in Espoo, Finland, working in a hybrid setup with biweekly presence together at the office.
You will have impact and fun at work by:
Collaborating with the team to check, edit, and balance game levels so they feel amazing to play.
Ensuring technical and visual functionality is top-notch for every update.
Sharing your unique ideas by creating proposals to improve areas like UX design or character behavior.
Translating your accepted ideas into clear design documents that help the team build better features.
Working directly within Unity and Git to update game assets and push changes to the live product.
Supporting the team with essential daily tasks, ensuring our development process stays nimble and efficient.
Exploring the possibilities of AI-assisted tools to help us prototype fresh and exciting game concepts.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
You’re currently enrolled or recently graduated from a relevant study program and are eager to apply your learning to a hit game.
You have a foundational understanding of Unity and feel comfortable navigating the engine.
You have a good understanding of using formulas in Google Sheets or Excel.
You have a genuine passion for games, shown through your own projects, mods, or participation in game jams.
You’re a team player who enjoys working together with others to reach a common goal.
You have a responsible approach to your work and can stay focused on both big ideas and smaller, repetitive tasks.
You’re comfortable communicating with a global team in English.
It would be nice if you also have the following skills:
A basic understanding of UX/UI design and tools like Adobe XD.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
An interest in AI tools (like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude) and how they can assist in design.
The ability to read C# code to better understand how our games tick.
A love for the Angry Birds universe!
