We’re hiring a Marketing & Events Specialist (Paid Ads Focus) to partner with a SaaS company entering a new phase of marketing maturity. This role sits at the intersection of event ownership, paid and organic digital marketing, lifecycle follow-up, and ROI tracking.

If you’re a hands-on marketing operator who thrives on structured execution, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes — this role is built for you.

Accountability

As a Marketing & Events Specialist, your success will be measured by your ability to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing initiatives with discipline and clarity. You’ll own events and webinars end to end, manage paid and organic promotion, and deliver clear insights on performance and ROI.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Event Marketing & ROI Ownership

  • Own events from planning through post-event analysis.
  • Manage event budgets, track spend, and maintain clear ROI visibility.
  • Coordinate speaker engagement, including outreach, scheduling, prep materials, and follow-ups.
  • Build and execute pre- and post-event campaigns across email, social, and paid channels.
  • Manage all event assets, including landing pages, promotional materials, and presentations.
  • Deliver structured post-event recaps with insights and recommendations.

Social Media & Paid Digital Marketing

  • Manage Instagram and Facebook channels to promote events, speakers, company updates, and thought leadership.
  • Draft, schedule, and publish content aligned with the marketing calendar.
  • Build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns using Meta Ads Manager.
  • Monitor performance and refine campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and lead conversion.

Webinars & Online Engagement

  • Own webinar promotion, registration, reminders, and post-event communications.
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, and run-of-show details.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and speakers to ensure a strong attendee experience.

Thought Leadership & Speaker Support

  • Research and identify speaking opportunities across events, panels, podcasts, and webinars.
  • Support outreach to event organizers and hosts.
  • Assist in developing promotional content that elevates speakers and positions the brand as an industry leader.

Execution, Reporting & Operations

  • Manage multiple initiatives concurrently with clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Use project management tools to keep work visible, organized, and on track.
  • Track performance, lead impact, and ROI across events and campaigns.
  • Operate proactively with minimal oversight while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.

Colleagues

You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events and campaigns are executed smoothly and deliver measurable impact.

At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in this role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals — those who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and operational range. As a Marketing & Events Specialist, your vertical strength will be event execution and paid digital marketing, while your horizontal strengths will include lifecycle coordination, reporting, and operational discipline.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Event Operations: Hands-on experience planning, promoting, and executing events or webinars.
  • Paid Media: Experience building and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager.
  • Social Media: Experience managing Instagram and Facebook for business use.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Reporting & ROI: Comfort tracking budgets, performance, and post-event outcomes.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal English with professional stakeholder communication.
  • Mindset: Proactive, structured, and comfortable owning execution end to end.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Canva for basic creative support.
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools (HubSpot or similar).
  • Exposure to webinar platforms and virtual event tools.
  • Experience supporting thought leadership or speaker programs.

Diversity of experience is core to Oceans. You are expected to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring that both personal and collective dignity are supported.

During the interview process, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in the following areas:

  • Event Ownership: How you’ve planned, promoted, and executed events or webinars end to end.
